• Constructed from 1-1/2 inch hexagonal 6061-T6 aluminum - higher specific strength than 1018 steel
• Yield strength of 45,000 lbs., yet 1/3 the weight of steel
• Aluminum construction deflects 3 times further than steel and will return to its original shape
• Hexagon shape allows tightening of jam nuts w/ 1-1/2 inch wrench
